01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
02 - Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
03 - Arrange the fillets in the prepared baking dish, leaving space between each.
04 - In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, and chopped parsley.
05 - Spoon the lemon butter sauce evenly over the halibut fillets.
06 - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center.
07 - Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
